Dictation is stored in compact digital files available for transcription via the network. This complete system enables a fast workflow from lab to transcript.

Components

Hands Free Dictate Station

The rugged hands free dictate station features 10 one-touch programmable buttons, 3.5mm microphone jack, auto-login, battery backup, and a waterproof 3-pedal footswitch.

Gooseneck Microphone

This high-quality gooseneck microphone combines a modular design, 10' cord, 18" flexible shaft, windscreen, with a durable, metal construction. The unidirectional microphone reduces background noise and accurately picks up dictation up to 24" away.

Four Port Junction Box

The four port junction box supplies loop current for four loop start ports, powering the dictate stations and providing a bridge between the stations and the Start-Stop Call-In Recorder. Flip a switch and you can set each port to either loop or ring, allowing you to use Call-In System directly wired or over a telephone connection. One junction box services up to four dictate stations.

Start-Stop Call-In Recorder (4-Line)

The Start-Stop Call-In Recorder is a PC based call-in dictation system that combines the features of a traditional call-in dictation system with the versatility and ease of use of a PC. Use our intuitive call-in software to easily create author IDs, manage files, and customize settings. Dictation is stored on the PC, allowing virtually limitless storage capacity. Start-Stop Transcription System for Call-In Recorder

The Start-Stop UNIVERSAL Transcription System has been an industry leader in PC transcription since its original version over a decade ago. This special version of The Start-Stop UNIVERSAL transcriber works with the special files used with the Start-Stop Call-In Recorder, allowing fast network based transcription while tracking important demographic and file information. This program is based on our Start-Stop UNIVERSAL Transcription System with additional features uniquely suited for use with the Start-Stop Call-In Recorder. Combined, the Call-In Recorder and Start-Stop Transcriber make an ideal solution for small, medium, and large sized offices with up to 300 dictation authors and several full or part-time transcriptionists.
