If you are not satisfied with the unit for any reason, most items may be returned within 30 days of initial delivery for a refund (sorry, we cannot refund shipping charges). Some exceptions apply: If the item(s) included free shipping, the refund will be equal to the cost of those items minus our shipping costs. All returns must be accompanied by an assigned RMA# in order to be considered for a refund. Items returned without an RMA number will not be accepted. Start-Stop Branded Products that include software and hardware (kits, systems) may be returned for a full refund within 14 days of purchase (subject to a 20% restocking fee from day 15 to day 30). Start-Stop Software Only purchases (e.g. CDs or Internet Download Link software that has been installed), may be refunded with a 20% restocking fee, providing that the software has been uninstalled by our techs and deactivated.
To obtain your RMA#, please click here: (click here). A refund check will be mailed to you or credit issued upon satisfactory receipt of the returned unit in re-sellable condition. Refunds cannot be given for special order items, or if the unit has been damaged, abused, or is returned with missing parts. Due to the nature of Dragon Naturally Speaking (Premium, Professional, and Legal versions) and Dragon Dictate for Mac software we cannot accept returns on these particular products. Exceptions: Dragon Medical Practice Edition and Dragon Dictate Medical for Mac, see below) for return policy.
Dragon Medical Practice Edition and Dragon Dictate Medical for Mac: 30 Day Return Policy:
Dragon Medical products require a call to us at 866 254 0714 to receive an RMA #. Any return without an RMA# will be rejected; all RMA’s must be initiated within returns within 30 days of purchase, and delivered within 7 business days of the RMA authorization.
If the Dragon Medical Box is unopened, undamaged and in resellable, new condition, you will receive a full refund within 30 days, or exchange/credit that can be used with other products. If the product is opened*, there is a 15% restocking fee. If the license key has been and/or remains activated, we cannot accept or provide a refund. Dragon Medical Practice Edition 2 Upgrade cannot be returned, due to the nature of installing upgrades. Returns of Dragon Medical are not allowed if they fall within 30 days of the release of a new major version.
*To be eligible for return, all returned Dragon Medical products that have been opened must be in complete, like-new condition with all cardboard inserts, CD envelopes, headsets, packaging, CD/DVD disks (media in like new condition, no scratches), manuals, headset, adapters, and accessories intact (no writing on any surface, or torn paper). All UPC codes, outside cardboard box, and accessories must be intact and in like-new condition.
The buyer is responsible to make sure the returned unit is adequately packed with crush zones, insured and trackable until delivery to HTH Engineering, Inc. with the RMA# clearly displayed on the outside of the package.
HTH Engineering, Inc. reserves the right to refuse any package shipped back to us without a valid RMA#. Any package received via US Mail, UPS, or FEDEX without a valid RMA# will be subject to a $25 processing fee.
International Orders: All prices are quoted in US Dollars and do not include international shipping, import, duty, or V.A.T. Payment Terms: We accept VISA or MasterCard, or money orders in U.S. dollars.

If ordering by VISA/MC/Discover/AMEX by FAX or E-mail, please specify card number, expiration date, name as it appears on the card, name and telephone number of the bank that issued the credit card (usually located on the back of the card), and the last three digits on the back of the card, just above the signature line. Credit cards are not charged until the merchandise is shipped. Packages that are refused upon delivery are non-refundable. Please allow 2 business days for preparation of your order prior to shipping.
PLEASE NOTE that currently we are only able to accept postal money orders denominated in U.S. dollars or checks denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. Checks must have a valid nine-digit bank routing number (ABA code) micro-encoded on the bottom of the check. Paying by check does slow down your order somewhat, as we do not ship your order until your funds clear.
You may specify your preferred method of shipment. UPS Worldwide Express 2-day shipping is available (see www.ups.com and use their QuickCost calculator to check shipping prices). As an estimate, the shipping weight for an entire system (Start Stop Transcription Interface, single or dual pedal units) is about 4 lbs total. Our preferred method of shipment is "UPS Freight Collect" (Worldwide Express or Worldwide Expedited), and can be used only if you are paying by credit card. Your card will be charged directly by UPS for the actual amount of the shipping charge, plus any applicable duties, import tax, or V.A.T. incurred.
